Dead Pool is my favorite super hero because he looks cool and he is rely hard to kill.

poetry ILT

Poetry can be away of the Author expressing himself by using words.
In our poetry ILT we did lots of activities on poetry.
People do poetry also to calm themselves down and take out whats bothering them.
The activities we did is Terminology group,poetry writing group,blackout poetry,poetry slam group,analyzing poetry, imagery poetry and self reflection.
I think the best activity was blackout poetry because it was fun being able to create poems out of  random words on pieces of paper.
My least favorite activity was terminology because I do not like looking up words.
The most Challenging activity was the imagery poetry because it was hard thinking up a picture to go with the poetry.

I did not feel to nervous acting my poem at the poetry slam, it was lots of fun seeing every one else`s poetry.
I did not learn many words on this ILT.

I learned that I am quite good at poetry and enjoy it.

Precepts

In the book Wonder Mr Brown talks about Precepts, and that is what I am going to be talking about.

His precept is ,"When given the choice between being right or kind,choose kind.

Precepts are rules or sayings that you live by.

Here's one by carol Burnett, ONLY I CAN CHANGE MY LIFE NO ONE CAN DO IT FOR ME.
I chose these words because I like knowing that I can control my life and choose
what I want to do in it.
Having a precept feels good because then when you have hard times you can remind yourself of that precept and battle through the sadness.
Precepts can come from all different people e.g famous people, normal people or you can just make up your own.

Here are some precepts that might keep you up and going, or get YOU through a hard time.

Hello, my name is Sindezu.

Yesterday, I woke up very early again to a door slamming and my neighbors shouting.

I didn't want to get out of bed because it was cold outside, but I had to to find a job.

I got out of my bed and walked to the stove.

I hate waking up in the mornings, I have to go and make breakfast.

I have no brothers or sisters to play with so I am very lonely.

My parents don't have jobs, so I had to look for one.

Most of my friends are are queasy and sick.

Yesterday I was sure I was not going to be hired for a job, but I was.

I got hired by a kind man, he said he would give me some money to look tidy his garden on a Saturday.

It was very hard work, my back was so sore when I was finished.

When I was done, he gave me my money.

I went to the shops and I bought some food.

When I was walking home, I saw a group of older boys on the corner near the shop.

They shouted to me to give them my food and started to chase me.

I sprinted all the way to my shack.

I ran into my room breathless and locked the door behind me.
